Common Precautions

• Substrate requirements: Substrate must be flat, dry, free of oil, grease, loose dust, and peeling paint. For latex paint walls, verify that the paint film is firmly bonded; Loose sections must be scraped and sanded.
• Substrate flatness: Walls with height variations exceeding 1.5mm per meter require leveling to ensure full contact between grille strips and the wall surface for secure adhesion and visual flatness.
• Pre-installation cleaning: Clean substrate with mild detergent to remove oil and wax. For smooth tile or glass surfaces, light sanding is recommended to increase roughness and improve adhesion.
• Application procedure: Peel off the release film, align from one edge, and press down. Use a squeegee or roller to apply even pressure, ensuring full contact between grille strip bases and the wall surface. Align metallic texture direction at seams to avoid perceived color differences.
• Ambient temperature: Recommended installation temperature is no lower than 10°C. At low temperatures, initial tack is reduced; Use a hair dryer to warm the adhesive layer evenly before application.
• Cutting method: Cut with a utility knife along the gaps between grille strips using a sharp blade to avoid burrs on the metallic coating edges. Use 45° miter cuts for corner joints.
• Cleaning and maintenance: Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust from grille gaps, or wipe gently with a slightly damp soft cloth following the grille direction. Avoid cleaners containing acidic or alkaline ingredients to prevent damage to the metallic coating.
