Common Precautions

• Substrate requirements: The substrate surface must be flat, dry, and free of oil or grease before lamination. Rough or oily surfaces may reduce PET film adhesion.
• Application temperature and environment: Recommended ambient temperature for installation is no lower than 15°C to avoid increased film brittleness. For heat-assisted lamination, heating temperature should be controlled between 100°C and 130°C.
• Adhesive selection: Use PET-specific pressure-sensitive or hot-melt adhesives. Pre-test compatibility to avoid blistering or edge curling over time.
• Storage conditions: Store rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, high temperature, and high humidity. Recommended storage temperature is 10°C to 30°C with humidity below 65%.
• Cleaning and maintenance: Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent or water. Avoid cleaning agents containing alcohol, acetone, or benzene-based solvents to prevent damage to the surface coating.
• Cutting and fabrication: Use sharp blades or CNC cutting equipment to minimize burrs. Pre-heating is recommended for edges that require bending or folding after cutting.
