Common Precautions

• Substrate requirements: Substrate must be flat, dry, free of oil, grease, loose dust, and peeling paint. Flatness tolerance: ≤2mm over 2 meters using a straightedge.
• Substrate preparation: For latex paint walls, verify that the paint film is firmly bonded; Loose sections must be scraped and sanded. For old tile walls, clean joints thoroughly before installation or apply a primer.
• Transportation and handling: Due to the 1.2M*3m size, two-person handling is required to avoid bending or impact. Use flatbed trolleys or rigid cardboard tubes for transport.
• Pre-installation preparation: Snap horizontal reference lines and vertical plumb lines on the wall. Begin installation from one corner. For large areas, start from the center and work outward.
• Application procedure: For self-adhesive products, peel off the release film, align with reference lines, and press down. Use a squeegee to push air bubbles outward from the center. For non-adhesive products, apply专用 adhesive evenly to the wall before panel placement.
• Seam treatment: Use butt joints or leave 0.5mm gaps between panels. Apply color-matched grout or filler to enhance visual continuity.
• Cutting method: Cut with a utility knife along a straight edge, or use power tools such as circular saws or jigsaws. Cut with the decorative side facing up using sharp blades/saw blades to avoid edge chipping. For irregular areas, create a paper template before cutting.
• Ambient temperature: Recommended installation temperature is no lower than 10°C. Adhesive curing temperature must comply with product specifications.
• Cleaning and maintenance: Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent or water. Avoid abrasive, acidic, or alkaline cleaners to prevent damage to the high-gloss mirror finish.
• Storage conditions: Store large panels flat on a level support to prevent bending or heavy stacking. Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. Storage temperature should not exceed 35°C with humidity below 70%.
